As a professor of 3D Character Animation, I have searched for a book that would meet the entry-level needs of the students I teach. In my experience, the books available breeze through tutorials, skipping many major steps and explanations, which leaves the entry-level student full of frustrations. My goal was to create a book that teaches the technology in terms and explanations for the beginner to understand, the concepts and reasons behind pushing buttons, the workflow and production pipeline for creating 3D characters, or the beginner’s approach to creating character animation.
